This policy covers the DEC Alternativa website (decalternativa.com) and every DEC Alternativa app: Bragueta, Keyboard Cleaning Lock and Exhume.
01Collection
We do not collect your data
Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no crash reporting to us, no licence checks. Everything runs on your own device, inside Apple’s App Sandbox.
This is not a promise we ask you to take on trust. Bragueta and Keyboard Cleaning Lock ship without the network entitlement, which means macOS itself prevents them from opening a network connection at all. Exhume has to carry it, because an app that sells something has to let Apple’s own App Store framework ask for its prices and check the purchase — and that is the only network traffic it can cause. There is not one line in Exhume that opens a connection of its own, and a check runs over its five hundred-odd source files on every change to keep it that way.
There is nothing to send because there is nowhere to send it.
02Your files
Your files stay yours
Bragueta reads and writes archives on your Mac. The contents of those archives, their file names, their passwords and anything derived from them never leave your machine and are never seen by us. Passwords you type are held in memory only for as long as the operation needs them and are never written to disk. Recently opened archives are remembered locally, on your Mac, so the app can offer them again; you can clear that list from within the app.
Exhume opens the text, code and document files you choose, and only those. Their contents, their names and anything derived from them never leave your device and are never seen by us. It does not scan or index your disk: the files and folders it reads are the ones you picked yourself in a file dialog.
03Purchases
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of that data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
